Our Hens are producing a lot less now that days are getting shorter - and we want to provide eggs all winter - so we need to raise the price for winter to keep up with labor and feed costs. Our costs are the same, hens produce less.
Not sure how the big boys do it for Safeway, Whole Foods/Amazon etc. I can guess! ----
